Coaching session on Saturday the 20/02/2010

It is hoped to hold the second of Martin O’Loughlins coaching sessions on Saturday the 20/02/2010. The format will consist of morning training spin and a Q  and A session in the afternoon. In the afternoon session Martin will also deal with training programmes on an individual basis, (this will be on a one to one basis).If you intend taking part please text Martin Gill and let him know.

Alan Donoghue – Secret Trainer (and here’s why…)

The Slievemann 200, organised by Sorrento Cycling Club, takes place on 6th March, 2010.

Entries will close on the 19/2/2010.

The Slievemann 200 is the reverse of the Lumpy 200.
Bray, Wicklow, Dunlavin, Tinahely, Glencree, Bray.

with 5 euro note/cheque.

A Cycling Ireland licence is required.
A one day licence can be had on the day for 10 euro.

8am start from Centra, Upper Dargle Road, Bray.

Lights, extra clothing and lots of food is advisable.

No bother, sure it’s just like the Wicklow 200 a few months early.

Barrow Wheelers Sporting 100km

Wexford Wheelers were well represented at last Sunday’s Barrow Wheelers Sporting 100km last Sunday.

Conor Crowley led his super fit band of warriors  on a tour of north west Wexford , via Enniscorthy,Bunclody,Carnew,GoreyWexford a mere 120 km
average 30kmph,a few pains tomorrow !!!
Brendan Ennis led his less energetic tour around south Wexford a  mere 70 km was covered avg 25kmph.
