Michael Noonan, Paul Barry and Ben Delaney traveled to Carrols Cross for round 2 of the SRAM Comeragh league last night. 3 laps of an 11 km circuit. Paul and Ben displaying their usual characteristic aggressive riding with Ben making a break on the first lap and staying away from the chasing peleton for a good 7 km. The three Wexford Wheelers Jerseys prominant and dominant at the head of the race for the duration of the race.

The A4 group remained away and were not caught by the chasing A2/A3 untill the start of the third lap. The chasing A2/A3 had split at that stage.

Wheelers Eamonn Roche took part in the Stephen Roche Tour De Cure in Middleton Co Cork on Sunday, completing the 160K in 7 hours.

Sportive Season has truly started.

Folks, on monday June 4th, local girl Michelle Lock completes a 600 mile cycle from  the isle of Wight into Ireland via Rosslare Harbour. Michelle will then travel to Wexford , after  ariving into rosslare on the 18:30 Ferry.

Michelles epic trip is in support of the Wessex Cancer  trust and the Wexford Cancer Day Unit.

Michelles Wexford Destination is Michelles mothers house in Taghmon ,where a welcoming tea party will be held, as a charity event, with the proceeds going to the Wexford Cancer day unit. The Charity tea party in Taghmon is June 8th.

As the event comes closer, perhaps Wexford Wheelers could accompany Michelle once Michelle enters county Wexford on monday june 4th.

Participants are also invited to the tea party in support of the Wexford Cancer Day unit, june 8th.

SERC Underage League
South East Road Club are delighted to announce the start of the highly popular underage league for 2012.

This year’s racing will get under way on the rugby club road on Monday next,May 14th.

Sign on is at 6:30pm and racing will start at 7pm.Invitations are extended to all our friends from surrounding clubs .

This Years Youth tour will be held on August 4th/5th/6th.
It caters for U12/14/16 cyclists
This year it will be held by Errigal C.C

There will be an entry fee of 30 euro and an extra 20 euro Penalty for late entries.
