Annual Wexford-Ballyhack-Waterford-New Ross-Wexford Spin
Nine hardy men and one hardy woman took part in George’s annual Wexford-Ballyhack-Waterford-New Ross-Wexford spin on Sunday, 18th March.
Three of the men avoided the ferry, cycling straight to New Ross from Ballyhack, saying they had to be back in Wexford early due to other commitments, but we know they either have a fear of seasickness or wanted to avoid a repeat of last year’s close encounter with the Customs boat.
It was a bit chilly when we set off from the Bullring at 8am (sharp – the first chime of the eight o’clock bell had barely rung out when George was at the end Common Quay Street waiting to turn right).
A bright Spring day it was and we soon warmed up. Onto the ferry at Ballyhack, and over to Co. Waterford. A few miles into the city and a coffee stop on the way out.
N25 all the way back and home at 1.30.
Well done to Tour Leader George on his third(?) annual running of this great local spin.
