Meet John Doyle.
John is a native of Barntown now resident in Wellington in New Zealand.
John kindly sent us this picture of himself proudly wearing the club
colours.
“Winter cycling in Wellington. This picture was taken
between Lyall Bay and Houghton Bay, about 15 minutes cycle from the
city centre. That's the Cook Strait behind me and you should be able to
make out the South Island.”
"I
had to wait for sunny days in order to take a picture of the only
Wheeler who can ride on the right side of the road (well, if we except
the ones who forget their right and their left when they come back from
the Stores on a Sunday evening...). You can see I have a new bike:
people always told me to listen to oldest people, so I have listened to
George who told me many times I had to buy a road-race bike. I will
have to come back in order to know if this bike is as comfortable as
the previous one for speaking of History with John McCormack."
